My Experience with the Upgraded Water to Go Active 75

After my last review of the Water to Go 75cl Active Bottle, it’s safe to say it quickly became an essential part of my daily life. I never leave the house without it, confident in its ability to provide safe drinking water wherever I am—whether hiking through the woods or paddling along local rivers.

Naturally, when Water to Go announced a new, upgraded version of this bottle, I was thrilled to get my hands on it.

Filtration System: The Core Feature That Stays the Same

As with the original, the upgraded Eco 75cl Active Bottle uses Water to Go’s unique three-in-one filtration technology, which removes up to 99.9999% of contaminants.

This multi-stage filter combines mechanical filtration, electrical adsorption, and carbon absorption to effectively remove viruses, bacteria, heavy metals, and many other harmful chemicals.

A single filter provides up to 200 litres of safe drinking water and should be replaced either when this limit is reached or after three months of use; replacement filters are conveniently available in packs.

The filter is the heart of the bottle, turning water from almost any non-salt source into drinkable water on the go.

Water to Go Filter replacements

From my own experience, this filtration system has proven its worth time and again, allowing me to safely drink water from streams, rivers, and even muddy puddles without any concern.

For those who enjoy the outdoors, this reliable filtration capability is truly a game-changer.

What’s New: A Focus on Sustainability and Hygiene

This new Eco 75ml Active Bottle stands out for its enhanced focus on sustainability and user-friendly design.

Plant-Based Bottle Material

Water to Go has replaced traditional plastic with a plant-based alternative, making this bottle far more environmentally friendly.

The Eco bottles are made from sustainable sugarcane, turning a byproduct of sugar production into a plant-based alternative to plastic. Not only does this substitution reduce reliance on fossil fuels, but it also makes the product recyclable and 100% BPA-free.

This eco-conscious update is a significant step forward, offering peace of mind to users who are mindful of their environmental impact.

Leakproof Enclosed Lid Design

The upgraded lid, crafted from recycled vegetables and wood pulp, offers an eco-friendly replacement for traditional materials on the new fully-enclosed mouthpiece.

These improvements are designed with the environment and hygiene in mind. Keeping the mouthpiece protected from dust, dirt, and germs, is particularly helpful when traveling or on an adventure. The lid feels more durable and adds an extra layer of reassurance when drinking from potentially unclean sources

Halal and Vegan-Friendly Certification

The upgraded bottle is now Halal-certified and vegan-friendly for users with specific dietary and lifestyle requirements. This broadens its appeal and makes it a more inclusive product, aligning with modern values around ethical and sustainable living.

Water to Go Active 75 Bottle

Overall, the upgraded Water to Go Eco 75cl Active Bottle builds on an already impressive design with even greater attention to sustainability. I’m as impressed with this new model as I was with the original.

If you’re an outdoor enthusiast, a traveler, or simply someone who values having access to safe drinking water wherever you go, the new Water to Go 75cl Active Bottle is a smart, eco-friendly choice.
